My idea of celebration is getting to know the faces behind different illustration artworks. More often than not, we recognize the illustration style, but not the illustrator. I selected 5 local illustrators whom I admire – Miun, John Fan, Hahahafi, Michael Ng and Kristal Melson (there are definitely a lot more wonderful illustrators however due to space constraints, I am stuck with 5). *I would like to celebrate these illustrators by making them into little collectibles that you can get for $2. There's even a special one - can you spot her?

I was invited by Organisation of Illustrators Council Singapore to design a poster for their upcoming Illustration Arts Festival. Each illustrator of the organization and their featured guests will design a poster around the theme of "Celebration". I pulled most of my colors from animes done in the 80s & 90s, where the colors were bright and happy. In my opinion, the colors worked well.
Venus – the special one. Ever since I began using Illustrator, she was always on the opening screen and I felt she must be the goddess of Illustrator.
